I know I’ve mentioned WooCommerce before and I know I’ll mention it again, but the short version:
WooCommerce is a free WordPress plugin that allows users to sell anything online – digital, physical, and even services and timeslots. With a huge support team and high quality standards, it’s a fast-growing e-commerce solution that blows paid competitors out of the water.
In one case, I worked with a company that used a custom e-commerce platform, which all said and done cost them about $10,000/yr in licensing, and required three full time developers to maintain… No product development included! Instead, WooCommerce can be coupled with only the paid extensions you need to get you a faster, more flexible site for a fraction of the cost.
