Allow Your Users to Login to WordPress with their Email Address

By default, WordPress allows you and your users to log in with a username assigned during account creation. This is good and fine, but it’s hard to keep track of hundreds of usernames, and I know I can remember my email… So why not have both? Introducing my fourth little plugin that allows your users to login to WordPress with their Email address, DS Email Login!
How does it work?
Short and sweet, it just allows a user to log in with either their username OR email address on file. This also works on custom login forms like the ones found on WooCommerce, and should work with any form that uses the standard signup template.
It’s a quick, simple plugin that avoids you having to mess with your functions.php file or make any template changes. With that said, what are you waiting for?
